Our Life Engagement activities are designed to meet the needs of each resident. These programs are developed around each person’s specific interest, abilities, past history, and routine. Engagements flow throughout each day to promote cognitive, sensory, creative, and physical skill.

In addition, the program supports life skills, enhancing each resident’s ability for self-care. Life Engagements promotes and encourages individual activities such as setting the table, folding laundry, and arranging flowers.

By creating a familiar environment, Elk Meadows encourages everyone to participate in the activities of our community; which may include visiting with children from a neighborhood school, creative arts, or reminiscing about a favorite vacation.
